Since the middle of the 1970s, music fans have made a pilgrimage to the Stone Pony, which has been described as the “pulsating heart of Asbury Park” by the New York Times. The Stone Pony is located on the Jersey Shore. It wasn’t unusual to see a young Bruce Springsteen perform alongside the little venue’s planned artists. In fact, the Boss is still known to make a casual visit on stage or in the audience from time to time. The venue, along with the city of Asbury Park, has seen a decline over the last several decades; nevertheless, it has made a comeback with a vengeance and is again promoting a stellar summer lineup both inside the venue and on its outdoor summer stage.

The Stone Pony may be reached in a variety of ways. It’s possible that you may wish to stay longer in Asbury Park to take advantage of the city’s other attractions. There are beautiful beaches, delicious cuisine, unique boutique shopping, and, of course, more music to enjoy. See you soon!
