Rich Lapinski started CMB Jersey Shore Stucco and EIFS Repair & Installation in 1985. What began as one guy with a trowel and a work ethic has turned into one of the longest-running stucco contractors in the Tri-State area. Over 40 years later, the company is still going strong, and Rich is still involved in every project.
How It Started
Rich got into the trade young. He learned the craft hands-on, working alongside experienced plasterers and masons before going out on his own. By the mid-1980s he had enough jobs under his belt to know he could do this full time. CMB Jersey Shore Stucco and EIFS Repair & Installation was born out of that confidence and has not slowed down since.
The early years were mostly residential work along the Jersey Shore. Small repair jobs, patch work, full exterior installations on new homes. Word got around. Builders started calling. Then developers. Then architects. Before long, the company was taking on commercial projects too.
